Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 small pkg. dates, chopped
3 c. Rice Krispies
coconut (bowl)
Preparation

Bring everything except coconut and Rice Krispies to a boil (2 to 3 minutes).
Cool.
Add Rice Krispies and mix well.
Form into balls and flatten.
Roll in coconut.
If too soft, add more Rice Krispies.
You can press into pan and cover with coconut and when cool, cut into squares.
