Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    10 oz. maraschino cherries
    6 oz. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
    1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
Preparation
    Cake:
    Mix together flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda, and salt.
    In another bowl, mix butter on high for 30 seconds.
    Add sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat on medium. Gradually add flour; mix until well blended.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press center of each with thumb.
    Drain cherries (reserve juice).
    Press halved cherry into center of each ball.
