Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
anise seed
Preparation

Beat eggs 15 minutes.
Gradually add sugar and beat; add flour and continue beating.
Add salt and baking powder and beat.
Space anise seed (4 to 7) on 5 cookie sheets (disposables work fine) and drop dough by teaspoonfuls, approximately 30 per sheet.
Allow to stand overnight.
Do not pile pans on top of each other, they must lie flat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
