Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine shortening and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Add molasses and egg.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add to shortening mixture.
    Make into balls the size of a walnut.
    Dip in sugar and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
