Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
1 lb. cream cheese
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. cream or whole milk
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add flour and nuts.
Blend until crumbly.
Set aside 2 cups.
Press remaining mixture into a 13 x 9-inch rectangular pan.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Beat together granulated sugar and cream cheese.
Add remaining ingredients.
Spread over previously baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
Continue baking for 25 minutes. Cool and cut.
