Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 c. cranberries, cut in halves
1 orange rind
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients. Add beaten egg, shortening, orange juice and hot water.
Combine only until blended.
Fold in nuts, cranberries and orange rind.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes in greased loaf pan.
When cool, store in refrigerator.
