1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar
1 small egg
5 drops vanilla
Preparation

For cookies, knead into smooth balls about 3/4-inch. Place and press on buttered baking sheet.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
