Brown Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 3/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. margarine or shortening
1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Mix
the
raisins
with
hot
water and let stand until cool. Add rest of the ingredients and mix.
Place in either a loaf
pan or fill 3 (No. 2) cans half full.
Bake for about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
