Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. milk
    1 c. corn meal
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 heaping Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Scald milk in a double boiler.
    Gradually stir in the corn meal and cook until the consistency of mush.
    Add butter, salt and sugar and pour over the well-beaten eggs gradually, while stirring.
    Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Bake in a hot oven at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve at once with plenty of butter.
    Serves 6.
