Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream sugars and shortening.
    Add salt, baking soda, flour, vanilla and persimmon pulp.
    Mix well.
    Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
