Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
rind of 1 lemon
salt
1/2 c. nuts
juice of 1 lemon
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat all together; add nuts and rind.
Use long narrow loaf pan; line pan with waxed paper.
Bake for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
Cool slightly for 5 or 10 minutes.
Pour over while in pan, 1/3 cup sugar mixed with juice of 1 lemon.
If regular bread pan is used, bake at 300\u00b0 for 3/4 hour and 10 or 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
