Jule Kaga(Christmas Bread) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cakes compressed yeast
    3 c. milk, scalded
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. currants
    10 to 11 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cardamon (if desired)
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped citron
    3/4 c. chopped raisins
    1/2 c. candied cherries
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Pour scalded milk over butter.
    When lukewarm, add yeast and sugar.
    Add 1/2 of flour and salt.
    Beat well for 10 minutes.
    Add eggs, beating thoroughly.
    Add fruit and remaining flour.
    Knead.
