Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    2 lb. dates, chopped
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    3 or 4 slices candied pineapple
    3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the brown sugar and butter.
    Add eggs.
    Fold in sifted flour (save 1/2 cup flour to mix with fruit), cinnamon and soda. Mix well with sugar and butter.
    Mix all other ingredients together and stir into first mixture.
    Batter should be stiff. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
