Ingredients

3 c. quick-cooking oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or flaked coconut
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine
Preparation

Combine oats, vanilla and nuts in large bowl.
Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine in saucepan.
Bring to a rolling boil. Pour chocolate mixture into oats mixture and drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Yields about 5 1/2 dozen.
