Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 c. whole milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. oil
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1/2 cup of corn meal; stir. Beat in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into a buttered 1-quart baking dish and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes until brown. Serve with a spoon; top with butter.
