Melt In Your Mouth Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. blueberries
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add 1/4 cup of the sugar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Cream shortening and salt and vanilla.
    Add remaining sugar and egg yolks and beat until creamy.
    Add dry ingredients, then milk.
    Fold in egg whites then add berries.
    Take a bit of the flour and roll berries in it so they won't settle.
    Sprinkle top with sugar.
    Bake in an 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
