Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. hot water
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Mix as any cookie.
Divide into 2 loaves and refrigerate overnight.
Slice and bake the next day.
