Nut Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    6 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    6 egg yolks
    2 c. cold milk
    1 large household yeast
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt.
    Cut in shortening with pastry blender. Beat the egg yolks with milk and crumble yeast into it.
    Stir until dissolved, then add to the flour/shortening mixture.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
    Sprinkle sugar on pastry cloth and roll thin.
    Cut into squares; spread filling on it.
    Roll up and place on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
