Chicken Livers Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thinly sliced onion
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 tsp. tarragon
    2 c. brown gravy
    1/4 c. sour cream
    4 c. cooked rice
    parsley
Preparation
    In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender but not brown.
    Add chicken livers and mushrooms.
    Season with paprika, salt, pepper and tarragon.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until livers are tender.
    Add gravy and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Slowly stir in sour cream and heat through.
    Serve over rice and garnish with parsley.
    Serves 4.
