Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. oleo
    4 Tbsp. dark molasses
    1 egg
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oleo; add molasses, egg, spices and dry ingredients.
    Do not overbeat.
    Refrigerate.
    Roll into balls. Smash (kid's will love to help!) with bottom of glass dipped in water.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes, just until they are chewy. You will have to experiment with your oven and what you like.
