Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. semi-sweet chips
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and vanilla. With a wooden spoon, beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually add dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes approximately 8 dozen.
