Sugar-Free Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled apples (sweet apples are best)
    1/2 c. frozen apple juice concentrate, undiluted
    1 1/2 to 2 tsp. tapioca, cornstarch or flour
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg or apple pie spice
    pastry (for double crust pie)
Preparation
    Mix apples, apple juice concentrate, thickener and spice. Stir until apples are well coated.
    Add lemon juice to keep apples light colored.
    Taste 1 piece of apple to check spice.
    Pour into pastry lined pan.
    Top with 2nd crust or pastry strips.
    Seal edges.
    Cut slits into top crust to allow steam to escape.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
