True Ginger Bread(Very Good) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 Cup unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 Cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1/4 Cup molasses
    1/4 Cup dark corn syrup
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Cups flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    2 oz. fresh gingerroot, peeled and grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350.
    grease an 8 inch square pan.
    In bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, cream together butter and sugar.
    Add molasses, corn syrup, egg, and salt and beat until smooth.
