Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dried apricots
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Soak apricots in warm water to cover, at least 1/2 hour. Drain and wipe dry.
Cut into quarters.
Blend and combine sugar, butter and egg.
Stir in water and orange juice.
Add dry ingredients.
Place in 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
