Ingredients

1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour and coconut.
Melt butter, brown sugar and syrup. Bring to boil.
Remove from heat.
Blend in flour and coconut mixture.
Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon about 3-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Allow cookies to set a few minutes before placing on a paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
