Short-Cut Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cheese soup (undiluted)
    3/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. snipped chives
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. white bread mix
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine soup, milk, butter and chives, cooking and stirring until butter melts.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine this mixture and bread mix.
    Turn out on lightly floured surface; knead until smooth (5 to 10 minutes), adding additional flour, if necessary.
    Invert bowl over dough; let rest for 25 minutes. Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Increase oven temperature to 425\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes more.
    Cover pan with foil for the last 10 minutes of baking, if bread browns too quickly.
