White Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. warm water
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter/oleo
    2 pkg. dry yeast
Preparation
    Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and oleo (or butter).
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Measure warm water into large bowl; sprinkle in yeast and stir until dissolved.
    Add lukewarm milk mixture.
    Stir in flour; batter will be fairly stiff.
    Beat until well blended, about 2 minutes.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 40 minutes.
    Stir batter down real good; pour into 2 greased loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
    Let rise until double, then bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
