Prune Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 heaping c. chopped prunes
    1/2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel (optional)
    1 c. orange juice
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 heaping tsp. cinnamon
    2 beaten eggs
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Combine prunes, orange peel and juice; let stand 1/2 hour. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine eggs, oil and prune mixture; add to dry ingredients, mixing well.
    Add nuts.
    Turn into oiled 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or use 2 aluminum ring molds. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes in loaf pan, a little less in ring molds.
    Remove from pan; cool.
