Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Cream shortening and peanut butter.
Add sugar and continue creaming. Add egg to creamed mixture.
Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into small balls.
Place on cookie sheet and flatten each ball with fork tines.
Bake 10 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
