Stuffed Mushroom Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf Italian or Vienna bread (unsliced)
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. poppy seed
1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
12 oz. grated Swiss cheese
8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
Preparation

Cut bread with crisscross cuts.
This is just like scoring a ham.
Cut to the bottom, but not through.
Stuff with mushrooms and cheese.
Melt butter; add other
spices and pour over bread. Wrap in double thickness foil and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
Serves well with steak or as an appetizer. This is also good with Cheddar cheese and ham chunks!
