Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. minced onion
4 Tbsp. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. plus 1 c. light cream
1 tsp. plus 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. dry instant mashed potatoes
2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 egg
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

In a large skillet, saute onion in 4 tablespoons of butter until soft.
Stir in 1 cup cream, 1 teaspoon salt and potatoes until thick.
Remove from heat and set aside.
In large bowl, combine beef, pork, egg, pepper and nutmeg; blend in potato mixture.
Roll into 1-inch balls; chill.
Brown meatballs, a few at a time in remaining butter and oil for 15 minutes.
Remove meatballs from pan and place in serving dish; keep warm.
