*Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 c. nuts
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, then add vanilla.
    To this mixture, add sifted dry ingredients and when blended well, add nuts.
    Make in 2 rolls and chill.
    Slice fairly thin and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
