Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening (1 part butter)
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Add sugars and cream again.
    Add eggs 1 at a time to mixture.
    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake in tube pan 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
