Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. Mazola oil
    2 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil.
    Add eggs, well beaten.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
    Mix well.
    Make into long roll and refrigerate (wrapped) overnight.
    Next day, slice into 1/4-inch slices and bake on greased cookie sheets at 400\u00b0 for about 5 minutes or until golden.
    Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
