Ingredients

3 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed to 1 1/2 c.
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
Preparation

In
large
mixing bowl, blend margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour mix until thoroughly combined. Stir in cereal and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto lightly
greased baking sheets.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 10
to 12\tminutes
or
until
very
lightly browned.
Remove immediately from
pans.
Cool\ton
wire rack or cloth.
Makes about 5\tor 6 dozen 2-inch cookies.
Pecans can be substituted for walnuts.
