Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large bowl beat brown sugar, molasses, Crisco and egg until fluffy.
    In another bowl sift together remaining ingredients. Add dry ingredients gradually to sugar mixture.
    Mix thoroughly. Form dough into balls 1/2 inch in diameter.
    Roll balls in granulated sugar.
    Place balls on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
