Apricot Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dried apricot pieces
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. orange juice
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Soak apricots in water for 30 minutes.
    Drain and chop.
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Beat eggs and add alternately with orange juice.
    Add in the following order:
    dry ingredients, nuts, apricots and orange rind.
    Pour into lined loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 10 to 12.
