Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening; add sugar, then eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Begin and end with flour.
Chill dough for 2 hours.
Drop by teaspoon on greased sheets.
Sprinkle with sugar, raisins or both before baking.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
