Easy Herbed Onion Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped Spanish onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 c. biscuit baking mix
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. dried dill weed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a large skillet, saute the onion in the butter for 5 to 7 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add onions, mixing just until blended. Spoon into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until golden.
    Cool before removing from pan.
