Scones(A Treat For Any Time.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. currants or raisins (optional)
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
    Using pastry blender, mix butter into mixture until mixture looks like fine bread crumbs.
    Stir sugar and currants into mixture.
    Add milk and mix until it becomes dough-like. Place dough in center of cookie sheet.
    Spread out to form a 1-inch thick circle, using your hands.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot with butter.
