N. B.'S Famous Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
2 c. water
2 c. milk
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 stick butter

Preparation

Add salt, sugar and butter to the water; bring to a full boil. Stir in cold milk. In another bowl, add baking powder to eggs and beat well. Add to corn meal and stir well. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake about 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
