Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    4 beaten eggs
    2/3 c. water
    2 c. pumpkin
    3 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Grease bottoms of loaf pans.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
    Blend in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
    Cool slightly, then remove from pans and cool completely.
    Wrap and refrigerate.
