Star Spangled Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
    2 pkg. instant blend dry yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    2 bananas (3/4 to 1 c.) mashed
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, ginger and orange peel; mix well.
    In saucepan, heat milk, water and butter until warm (120 to 130\u00b0, butter does not need to melt). Add to flour mixture; add egg and bananas.
    Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Gradually stir in remaining flour to make a firm dough.
    Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.
    Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled, about 1 hour.
