Aunt Opal'S Crisp Cinnamon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    melted butter or margarine
    cinnamon sugar
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
    Chill dough for 1/2 hour.
    Make into small balls (about the size of walnuts).
    Dip in melted butter; roll in cinnamon sugar.
    Flatten on cookie sheet, using the bottom of a drinking glass dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
