Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs (or use just the whites if you are cutting down on fat)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal, put into blender and ground into flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
12 oz. chocolate chips (I like milk chocolate chips)
1/2 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips, chocolate and nuts.
Shape into balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a 375\u00b0 oven for 16 minutes.
Makes 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies.
