Nettie'S Zucchini Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (9 or 10-inch) pie crusts (uncooked)
    4 c. cubed zucchini (5 c. for deep dish)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 rounded Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Peel and cut large zucchini; remove seeds.
    Cut in cubes and cook until tender.
    Drain thoroughly.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into pie pan lined with crust.
    Put top crust on.
    Cut vent slits in crust.
    Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Turn down heat to 350\u00b0 and finish baking until golden brown, about 20 or 25 minutes longer.
