Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
dash of salt
4 Tbsp. light cream
all-purpose flour (enough to make a soft dough)
Preparation

Beat eggs, sugar and salt until thick and light.
Add cream and enough flour to make a soft dough.
Cut dough into diamond shapes and fry in hot shortening (375\u00b0).
While warm, sprinkle cookies with granulated sugar.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
