Ingredients

1 lb. butter
5 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 medium eggs
1 1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add flour with baking soda; mix well.
Drop cookies on cookie sheet or chill and shape into rolls and refrigerate or freeze.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies.
