Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. cooked carrots, mashed
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. raisins
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugars together.
    Add vanilla.
    Add cooked carrots that have been mashed and cooled.
    Sift flour.
    Measure and add salt and baking powder.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
