Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat butter until creamy.
Gradually add brown sugar, pudding mix and sugar (beating well).
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour and soda and gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well.
Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for eight to ten minutes.
